Tribute to Christian Martial Artists - He Will Carry Me

Christian mma fighters

It's so dangerous. A hard fight but this is what they live for. It's scary but there's a reason why we have these three guys here. They went down a long road of struggle and saw fights which ended either way for them. In the same way our lives or work, can end either in a knock out or you could push it to a decision. It can be anything. It can destroy you or make you. but these three feel that it has made them stronger by being Christian. learning to live life God's way and following his will. Rich Franklin, Quiton Jackson, mat Hughes. Powerful Men but also serving a powerful GOd. Let's remember that GOd has given us the power to be strong and courageous to stand between the living and the death. Amen

After burners

Pretty weird. I'm almost jobless. No call backs or email offers.
I followed the fight of Rashad Evans and Chuck Liddel at UFC 88. I didn't see the knock out. I have to wait for the DVD to come out. The best KO I've seen so far was Wanderlei Silva on Keith Jardine. I did watch re-runs of the The Ultimate Fighter two which Evans won. He was just 220 pounds then and had to face off with a 260 pounder in Brad Imes. Evans was like all over the place when he wasn't in front of Imes. He moved well until the last few moments when both men tired out and they just tried to punch each other standing up. Evans then moved to light heavyweight at 205. He beat or knocked out his opponents by being versatile and moving all the time. He made people worry. He made people scared of what he could throw out, a take down or a sudden Upper cut. Hence, the nickname "Sugar" for the boxing legend Sugar Ray Robinson. Liddel, I was thinking his boxing would be too much for Evans to handle but that one moment he got stunned and Evans took it home. IF you wanna read go to Yahoo.com > sports > MMA > UFC 88.
TKO's, Submissions, Fighting, I was really hyped about these things. I got tired of that old fake WWE stuff and please the TNA stinks. I wanted to see how real it would get. It was awesome. people imposing their will on each other. Not knowing what to expect. I like to see close fights where two versatile fighters just try different tactics to get into each other and beat each other up or knock each other out. It was a very unique sport and I really liked what i saw in the figthers. They had a lot of heart and fought in a dangerous sport. It's not something I would let kids watch but a grown man should see and get some.
I'm still trying to ingnite some after burners. I need to study more these days to get an idea of my course. I'm reading books which will hopefully give me an edge in my course. I've been seeing someone also lately. Jolyn. She's been great. Helpful and a good perspective. I think she balances some of the dumb things I do in life. She's pretty smart and works hard. She;s now in Poly and we're taking our time. See where it takes us.....
