Finals to Draft

Firstly, congratulations to the Spurs for winning the title one more time. A trade mark in the Tim Duncan lead franchise. Congrats also to Tony Parker MVP and husband to be. Michael Finley for his first and Robert Horry for his 7th. Unbelievable.



Now , time for draft day.

1st pick- Trail Blazers- Greg Oden- He is the next franchise center and will stand with the likes of Shaquille O'neal, Tim Duncan, and will remind Portland of the great Bill Walton. THe Blazers just secured their future and added a huge advantage to their young and talented team which also has rookie of the year Brandon Roy.



2nd Pick- Sonics Kevin Durant- He is a mix of Kevin Garnett, Rashard Lewis and the most offesively versitile forward in the Draft. The Sonics will take him and get another man to be Shawn Kemp who can play along side Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, if he comes back. He has the inside game to compliment Allen's outside presence.



3rd pick-Hawks- Al Horford- the Atlanta Hawks need a strong big man who can contribute immediately. Horford is a winner and helped and virtually lead the Florida Gators to back to back Championships. He also played in the team that with stood Greg Oden. The Hawks will have a man who can compliment Josh Smith or play center along side him or Mravin Williams or be a power Forward next to Zaza Pachulia, who had a break out season.



4th Pick Grizzlies- Mike Conley Jr. Usually Batman picks his Robin. For this one, the Grizzlies will get someone who has played alongside Greg Oden for a long time and can play with a talented line up of Mike Miller, Rudy Gay, Hakeem Warrick, Stromie Swift and Pau Gasol.



5th pick- Bucks - Yi Jian Lian- An big small forward on the wings of the Bucks next to Michael Redd. He will develop well in a good offensive team with the Bucks and can show up with a tall line up next to Charlie Villanueva and ANdrew Bogut.

6th pick- Celtics-Brandan Wright- He has a Shawn Marion / Josh Howard Mentality. the Celtics get an immediate Contributer who can play into Doc Rivers system. HE will relieve Pierce of slashing to the basket and relieve Al Jefferson of Rebounding duties.

7th pick-Wolves- Jeff Green- A versatile forward next to Kevin Garnett. Wolves get someone who can compliment Garnett at the post and fit right into the wolves system of big man.

8th pick- Bobcats-Corey Brewer- A three-point threat and wing man who can be insurance when Gerald Wallace bolts. On the other hand, He and Wallace compliment each other well with an inside-outside, it's just a matter of who's better at being a shooting guard or small forward.

9th pick - Bulls- Spencer Hawes- big man who can play next to Ben Wallace, Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas and Learn from PJ Brown who may comeback next year.

10th pick- Kings- Joakim Noah- Energy and Passion. Something the Kings lack can come from Noah. Noah is a mix of offensive and defensive Rebounding and may wake up Brad Miller who has had a bad season since Chris Webber and Peja Stoajkovic left.

11th- Hawks- Acie Law- Perfect, a point guard who can go big next to veterans Lue and Claxton and play alongside Joe Johnson

12th-Sixers- AL Thorton-leader, athlete, and scorer, another piece to the Sixers young talented team

13th-Hornets- NIckYoung- best shooing guard in the Draft. good fit for a need in the Hornets line up and compliments Chris Paul well.
